There are many other fun activities to be had all around the park. Bring the kids and meet up with friends and family to enjoy one of our engaging options.
Basketball
Indiana has a passion for basketball! A newly built half-sized basketball court is centrally located within the park next to the large playground. There is also a sand volleyball court available.
Playground
The park offers a centrally located, fun filled playground with many different swinging, sliding, and climbing options for kids to work off that energy! Nearby is a newly built half-sized basketball court and covered shelter house.
Beach
If swimming is your pleasure, a large sandy beach is ready and waiting for your friends and family to come and splash for the day. There is plenty of room to spread out your blankets and awnings to grab those rays and relax. There are also plenty of picnic tables, so bring your lunch and stay for the day!
Horseshoe Pits
Offered throughout the park are horseshoe pits ready for your family and friend competitions.
Hiking Trails
There is a fun and scenic Boy Scouts of America hiking trail through the middle of the park for those who enjoy taking in nature while getting some exercise.
Shelter Houses and Band Pavilion
There are seven covered shelter houses available for rent throughout the park for your family gatherings, parties, and reunions. There are two large shelter houses for $40 per day and four small shelter houses for $25 per day. The shelter house is yours for the full day. There is a large, covered band pavilion located at the beach that is also available for rent.
Other Activities
On off-weekends (no festivals) there are often live bands, DJs, crafts, egg hunts, and kids fishing rodeos just to name a few. Hunting for painted rocks (or painting and hiding them!) in the park is a favorite past time for kids and adults alike.
